She built this for her daughter: “As an accountant working from home she has 49 pounds of weight on the tabletop at all times. I weighed the desk top with the arms at 44 pounds before I poured a light coat of epoxy on it. I ended up with 47 pounds of weight in each counterweight box plus some sand. All in all the top has no problem staying down and doesn’t require much effort to start it moving up.”
